Paul: The original need, as you realize, is a mechanism for copying styled
text from an Entourage message to FileMaker. Going via the clipboard seems
to be the best way (why involve a third application if we can avoid it?.

An osax that does cut, copy and paste would be nice, like Tanaka's does in
OS 9. Short of that, an osax that emulates typing with modifier keys would
let us manipulate the Edit menu that way.

Do you have any idea why seemingly none of the relatively simple osaxen are
getting converted, especially since Eric Grant did his thing for making
compatible versions? (Incidentally, where can I read about that?)
