Title: Re: Deleting info imported to Entourage X
Paul

In responding to this email, you responded to my P.S. about how to reply to you. However, you didn't respond to the main question, so here it is again:

Umm - the usual way? You select one contact in the Address Book, press
command-A to select all, then click the delete (trash) button or the Delete
key. Yes, this would be he quickest way to get rid of your duplicates - just
start over.

My reply and question

Apologies that I wasn't clear enough. I know about selecting all and deleting, but I have about 3500 contacts.  I thought perhaps there was a whole file I could find through the desktop and delete it.  Anyway, I deleted the usual way, it took a long time, but it's done.

However... Also realized I'd have to do the same for tasks, notes and calendar.  Obvious for tasks and notes, but how can I delete all calendar entries as there's not an obvious list to do "select all"?

Two other questions about importing from Eudora

1. I imported from Eudora.  In my contacts list, I now have two different entries under the same name.  One is John Doe who was already in Entourage with all the data already entered.  The other is John Doe with just email address - imported from Eudora.  I can do a multi-step cumbersome method to get that email address into the original file and delete the Eudora import.  However, is there a better way?

If so, is there a search criteria in Entourage X that would pull up all contacts that are listed twice?  Then at least I'd have them all in front of me, and I'd just go through the laborious process described in previous paragraph.

2. Glad X imported contacts.  However, in Eudora, I also had various other mailboxes to which I saved messages I had already read or sent.  I also had an "In" and "Out" boxes full of messages I was temporarily saving before I transferred them to the proper mailbox.  I know I'll be able to manage this in X, but is there a way to import the boxes and contents I already have in Eudora?  Or perhaps it has already done so and I just don't know where to find them.
