Because the data, and database are not stored in the application. they are
stored in the Microsoft User Data folder in the Documents folder of [your
username] folder ("Home") in the Users folder of your OS X hard disk. That
is not removed by the Remover, and is found by the full installer. Among
other items in the MUD folder is the Office X Identities folder, and within
that the Main Identity (and any other identity) folder(s) which contain the
Database and supporting files. That will be safe and sound whenever you
remove Entourage or upgrade it or overwrite it. Good system, yes?
