In general, there isn't much changed (or broken) between OS 9 & OS X in plain vanilla applescript. Where scripts may meet with trouble is if they use 3rd party OSAXen. Not many of these have been converted to OS X, so scripts that rely on calls to them won't work. For Entourage the two most prolific script writers, Paul Berkowitz and Allen Watson, have been steadily converting the hundreds of scripts they have authored to make them compatible with OS X.
