It would help to say which version of Entourage - they behave differently
here. By looking at the source, I see you're in Entourage 2001, SR 1. If you
haven't turned off "allow network access" in the Read preferences (mail &
news prefs), then you need to give Entourage more memory: 20 MB will
certainly be enough, sometimes you can get away with 15. If you open
messages in their own window at the same time as they're in the preview pane
- that takes twice as much memory.
