mac.com messages can be sent either from its own smtp.mac.com SMTP server, or from your ISP's SMTP server if you have the account set up as POP, not IMAP. (If IMAP, then it has to be from smtp.mac.com). Are you sure that the SMTP servers are the same (NOT the POP server, the SMTP server). If you use mac.com's SMTP server, you have to authenticate; if you use you ISP's SMTP server, you probably don't. In Entourage, this setting is found with the button just below the SMTP server: "advanced sending options". Are you sure all this is the same on all email programs? And the headers? Can you send them, please? -- Paul Berkowitz -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
