I also have a pair of scripts that export/import groups. You could export
the groups from one identity, import into the other. Should work, I've never
tried it, but I have exported and imported groups from the same identity.

Check my web site and/or www.applescriptcentral.com for the scripts, named,
I believe, "Export Address Groups" and "Import Address Groups".
