Paste not work

Title: Paste not work

Friends-

I often am unable to paste text into an Entourage (X) document that I have copied from a Word (X) document. Whether I use the Edit menus or keyboard commands, when I go to the message text window and do a paste command, nothing happens.

Anyone have any ideas??
