Not simple, no. Presumably you have POP accounts, since accessing IMAP on
the server is very simple, yes. (The main reason why people get IMAP
accounts).

By setting up both file sharing and program linking in OS 9 or x as the case
may be, this is something that ought to be possible. But I believe program
linking over TCP/IP doesn't work yet in OS X - mot sure about LAN, probably
it does. As I've never tried it, I'm not clear from _where_ exactly on your
wife's computer you would link to your your own Entourage identity back on
your own. You might just be able to go into your own hard drive, as with
file sharing, and start up your own identity. has anyone tried this? Maybe a
Mac OS mailing list would know more.

i will soon be releasing scripts which will let you export and import stuff
from your identity on your own computer to a residential identity you keep
on your wife's computer, and ice versa, but would be probably more trouble
than it's worth for casual use such as you're describing.

An interesting question altogether. Does anyone have a better answer? it
sounds like something Barry W. might have tried if he thought of it... or
Mike Wellman, if he's still reading this list.
