It could be that somehow he switched identities. On the "Entourage" menu,
select "Switch Identity". If there is more than one, you'll get to choose
one, and the missing data may be in that alternate identity.

The files in question are normally stored in the folder
BootDisk:Documents:Microsoft User Data:Office X Identities:Main Identity,
where "BootDisk" is your OSX hard drive/partition. If you have various user
identities, they will be in the folder along with the "Main Identity"
folder.
