I notice in some of the email programs I use that when you create a new rule
or filter it offers the option of immediately applying that filter to all
messages currently in the Inbox.

My primary client is ER X and in creating rules I do not see this listed as
an option.  Is this currently a feature of ER X, and if so, how does one
apply a new filter to messages currently in the Inbox (or other boxes if
that is possible)?
