It sounds to me as if perhaps the two of you are talking about different
things :-). In Word and perhaps also E'rage(?) if you start to type the name
of a contact who's in your address book, Word will suggest the rest of the
name and if you agree, it'll insert the name as a link (personally I don't
like this, because you then can't delete just the first name or just the
last name, but I can see where it would be useful in some situations). That
sounds to me to be what Richard is talking about. The only thought I have
about why this might not be working properly is to ask if you've unchecked
"exclude contacts" in the autocomplete menu item.

In E'rage, when you start to address and email, it will suggest a bunch of
email addresses based on the characters you've typed. I think that's what
Diane is talking about.
