Hello, having switched to from Entourage 2001 to Entourage X - 10.0.1 (1331) - I've run into some irritating problems concerning settings: I work on two (three) different machines: one here at work and one at home. All documents incl. mail are on both machines and I synchronise the two machines by means of an iBook that I carry back and forth (so the iBook also holds all docs). The settings, however, are not identical on the two machines and they shouldn't be. This never gave me any problems whilst using Entourage2001, since preferences, rules and accounts were easily excluded in the backup procedures. But Entourage X doesn't work like this (for one thing there is no preference file in the Main Identity folder) and I can't seem to find out how to exclude the settings. The result is that I have to start my work changing the settings manually two times a day. Now my questions are: where does Entourage X keep this information? Is there a way to exclude it from my synchronisation routines? What happens if I exclude Mailing lists and Database cache (if that's where the settings are kept)? best, Martin K
