Ah yes. I suspect you once edited a single instance of a recurring event in
Entourage, perhaps by dragging one instance to another day, or by changing
its time, etc. That confuses Palm and creates extra events in Entourage.
You can check like this:

Make a Custom View of just Calendar Events (no other items) with criterion

    Category is not Holiday

That will give you a list of all your events except holidays (which aren't
recurring events - they're always single events).

Sort the list by Title. Check it carefully: you will probably see a whole
slew of events with the same name on the same date. delete them all, and
especially DELETE THE FIRST EVENT IN THE SERIES which is the original
recurring event, This is the one that is "corrupt" as far as Palm is
concerned. You can remake it to take care of future occurrences (it can be a
recurring event, certainly) but don't ever edit a single instance of it if
you don't want to screw up Palm. (Just an an extra event for the changed day
or time)

After you've done these deletions, do an Advanced Rebuild of the database by
holding down Option key when launching Entourage. Then you should be able to
sync (you should probably do an Entourage Overwrites Palm first time).
