I should probably use this as an opportunity to learn more about apple scripting, but I am busy right now and thought I would throw it out to see if it has already been done or if others see the need.
I frequently get e-mails that have a long To: addressee list (sometimes over 200) and need to forward or reply to the messages. I prefix my replys/forwards with the short header style attribution lines and the entire message. Of course this results in a large list of addressees in the quoted part that is of little of no value. This is especially annoying when I highlight and forward just one paragraph from a long report and still get the 200+ line header quoted with it. Manually, I usually place the cursor before the first addressee and then shift-click at the end of the last addressee and replace the highlighted block with "<a bunch of people>" to keep the flavor of the short headers and still shorten the quoted part. Is it possible to have a script set up the message for reply or forward with this pruning of the To: list in the quoted part already accomplished?
