I have seen then when the Exchange mailbox has a corrupt message in it. You may be
able to get it using Outlook on the PC which uses Mapi but it sounds like Exchange is
having a problem translating a specific message in the mailbox from its stored Mapi
format to RFC822 which is needed for IMAP. You can find the offending message and
move it out of the Inbox folder using Mapi client or you may want to contact your
admin to see if he can rebuild your mailbox.

Subject: Error 1025 with Exchange

(I'm reposting this in ASCII in case the HTML was garbled. Thanks!)

I'm using Entourage 2001 to connect to our Exchange server under MacOS 9.2.2
and using the IMAP protocol. For reasons I cant explain, ever since today
when I open my Inbox, I get an error message: Could not retrieve mail from
the account The server returned the following error: the parameter is
incorrect. Error 1025. I dont get this message in any of my subfolders,
only the root Inbox and the Sent folder. I still get all my mail, its just
annoying to have to constantly close the Error window. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
