I just tried the View Next Seven Days item under Calendar and was presented with lots of things including various birthdays that occur in December etc.
I modified the item by adding a restriction to events that do not recur and got an accurate list except of course for recurring items this coming week. I then changed it to include only items recurring weekly and got a list of only weekly recurring items including some I had deleted for this week only, despite the intended restriction to events this week only.
