I'd like to share something that's been happening to me occasionally and see
if anyone else has experienced it or has an answer to its cause.
I have my plain text message font set to Monaco 9 and generally every
plain-text message comes in displaying this font. Occasionally, however, I
receive a plain text message that displays in some other font. If I view the
source there will be no text formatting ("Content-type: text plain" and no
HTML formatting in the body of the message). If I copy and paste the text of
the message into an HTML draft message the font menu indicates it is in
AppleGothic. If I drag the message to the desktop and then drag it back into
another folder the symptoms remain. An example of this is Eric Hildum's last
post of the subject "Re: More AutoCorrect Bugs?" (sorry Eric :-).
Any ideas what would cause this?
