Besides, my IP is in a couple of Dial-up IP lists and is denied SMTP relaying from many hosts. And I meant to say that I want to get the mail with fetchmail, not postfix, sorry for the confusion (postfix is what I installed instead of fixing Sendmail). I don't mind processing it on my end, but since my email is kind of important to me, I would like to use "real" SMTP and POP servers on a fixed IP, not my Mac on a cable modem under my desk. Call me snob if yo must! :-) So far I had a suggestion off list to try Macconnect. I'll report on my findings. > > on 4/4/02 12:33 AM, Etienne Michaud at [EMAIL PROTECTED] arranged electrons > in the following style: > >> Hi, >> >> I'm looking for a provider that offers mail accounts. >> >> My email managing universe is collapsing, with Yahoo mail annoncing the end >> of free pop access, iName ending the free redirects and my ISP sending mail >> to dev/null a bit too often for my liking. >> >> If I'm going to have to pay for mail services, I migt as well get something >> decent. >> I was especially interested in a service provider offering a domain wide >> email box, that I could process at home, using Postfix, etc., creating >> accounts myself. >> >> Does anyone have recommendations or comments regarding such services? >> >> Thanks, > > -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
