There are two possible ways to fix this:
1) works only in Entourage-X. In Mail Preferences:Compose:click the
clear addresses. Problem is that it wipes out *All* the addresses in there.
2) works in both Entourage-X and Entourage:
Add the bad address to the address box and *THEN* delete it.
