I have my Tasks list set to display with four columns: Links, Task, Due Date, and Categories. I prefer to sort the list by category, so tasks of the same type are grouped together: phone calls, errands, etc.
When I start up Entourage and switch to the Tasks list, the Categories column header is selected, but the tasks are shuffled, and not sorted by category. In fact, they are not sorted in any apparent order - at least none that relates to any of the displayed column headers. If I click in the Categories column header, the displayed order (whatever it is) is reversed. But they are still not sorted by category. If I click on a different column header (e.g., Due Date) the tasks sort on that field. Then I can click Categories, and the tasks sort on that field. But the ordering is lost when I quit and restart Entourage. A small glitch, but annoying. Is this a known issue? I'm running Entourage X under Mac OS 10.1.3, and Classic is not running. I have installed the Hotmail and security updates.
