My Entourage database finally became corrupted--a type 2 error every time the app quit, and the old end-of-file errors during both a typical and advanced rebuild. The usual trick of deleting preferences and boosting memory didn't help, so I deferred to a backup and exported mail added before the backup as an mbox.
One folder gives me a type 2 crash when I drag it to the desktop. Can I safely assume that the "corruption" occurs in that part of the db, and the rest is OK? (Therefore, I should just scrap this part of the database?) Jud, I can get you a copy of the trashed database if that helps your debugging efforts... -ML -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
