Is this a POP or IMAP?

Usually when there is missing mail it's because the user has selected unread
only for the folder. This doesn't seem to be your problem as it appears you
see other mail.

I suggest doing a custom view for the mail and see if Entourage can find it.
It's possible it was moved by some gremlin. :-)
