Question 2: this thing does not support relative links, so how do I attach the images to this message without having to leave them on a web server somewhere?
You can’t. But if you are in ErageX (as it appears you are) you can send simple HTML mail with images inline, by just dragging the image into the location you would like. And I was going to demonstrate, but this list won’t accept enclosures. Just try it. Write a message in html and drag an image to the place in the text you would like...
