Title: OT - MSN Messenger location and files?

I’ve noticed that the version 3 update to MSN Messenger seems to want to put messenger into a different directory than the one used when version 2.1 Messenger was installed by the Office installation. The Office installation placed Messenger in with the other Office applications, while the new installer seems to want to create a separate directory. Will the Messenger update clean up the old installation automatically, or do I need to delete the MSN Messenger 2.1 files myself. If the latter, what files need to be deleted from the Office folder?

Since OS X is more sensitive to the folder locations than Mac OS 9, it would be nice if Microsoft would pick a single location that all the installers for a product would install to, instead of having different folders depending on which product bundle and upgrade/update one happened to use.
