Hope this makes sense. > I think this is the same problem I had with a recurring task not reappearing - the trick was that you have to mark the task as complete this month (or week in my case) in order for it to appear again next month. Not positive, but you might try it (you should be able to check by going to the tasks pane and checking the task as complete; I think that as soon as you do that a new task should appear for the following month). Hope I'm remembering right and that works for you.
