But i have heard many complaints that you can't get all the fields you might want that way There's quite a restricted subset. Also, why should it be any less trouble after the first time? Address Book/Contact stuff in Word is Mac-only (the Windows versions don't have any such thing) and, as such, do not have anything like a full VBA implementation, for example for the fields. So you can't save these choices by macro, even if you know how to write Word macros. You'd have to go through the whole thin every time.
