Title: Re: Email for Two Offices
Thanks for the quick reply Bill. I wasn’t clear enough in my first email to the list. I do basically what you’ve suggested and am doing OK with synchronizing INCOMING email on the two machines. The real problem is how to synch my OUTGOING/SENT email in order to have the same running correspondence on both machines. The simplest way is probably to BCC myself whenever I send an email, but I too often forget so am wondering if there’s a way to automate BCC for outgoing mail or some other method I don’t know.

What I do is leave the messages on the server for a certain period of time.

On my primary computer, I have the following options checked: "Leave a copy of each message on the server," "Delete message from the server after [5] days", (you can set the number of days that works for you) and "Delete messages from the server after they are deleted from this computer."

On my secondary computer, I leave the "Delete messages from the server after they are deleted from this computer," so that I am sure to get all mail on my main computer.

Get to this under Tools -> Accounts -> Edit [Account Name] -> Options for the Account.

Hope that helps!
