I have to agree here. Maybe I'm just a die-hard purist, but I hate HTML mail. IMO, if you truly *need* formatting in your message, send a Word document as an attachment ;) Actually, to be fair, I've softened a bit on that stance, due entirely to this list: as others have mentioned frequently, often the best way to send a script without breaking lines is via HTML mail. I think I've send two HTML emails in my life, and both were AppleScripts to this list ;) But for the most part, HTML is unnecessary. Plus the fact that many, many people still use email clients that don't read HTML mail.
