I'll throw in my 2 cents: You definitely need to check out the AppleScript Sourcebook site: <http://www.AppleScriptSourcebook.com/> I ran across a new tutorial site yesterday, have not read through it to see how good it is, but give it a try: <http://www.macobserver.com/tips/applescript/index.html> There is a series of articles by Bill Briggs, called AppleScript Primer (written July, 1999 thru February, 2001) that take you step by step through a number of useful techniques. <http://maccentral.macworld.com/columns/briggs.shtml> I'm sure Paul will mention the O'Reilly book, "AppleScript in a Nutshell". It's a great reference tool but not a great introductory book. Some folks speak highly of "AppleScript for Applications" by Ethan Wilde. I have his book on scripting for Internet, and it is very readable and useful. Also, Danny Goodman's AppleScript Handbook is a standard, if somewhat outdated, learning tool. I used it to get started. -- My web page: <http://home.earthlink.net/~allenwatson/> My scripts page: <http:homepage.mac.com/allenwatson> Microsoft MVP for Mac Entourage/Word--<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
