There are versions of Attach vCard for both Entourage X and 2001 at
AppleScript Central
<http://www.applescriptcentral.com/>
Just click on the "Search" link and enter "Attach vCard" there.
"Make Contact from vcf" is not necessary, that's correct. I can't recall if
it was always so easy in Entourage 2001.
