You can do LDAP lookups in Entourage's addressing pane by clicking the "check names" toolbar button (it uses the default LDAP account), but this probably isn't exactly what you want. Making this happen automatically without any button pressing is already on our wishlist. Thanks for the suggestion.

For those not familiar with this functionality of the "other" browser, it's mail component, when setup with a default LDAP server, can auto-complete addresses in message composition by querying the LDAP server on the fly. In Entourage you currently have to do the lookup for a specific name and then either add the entry to your address book or send a message to it from the Directory Services window. This would be very useful for corporate "address book" implementations that would allow a shared address book among many users without each individual user having to update their own individual entries. I know that I would love this feature for the ~200 Mac users whose mail I currently administer. -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
