I thought it sounded like a good idea not to synch old calendar entries to the handheld, so I went to the settings for calendar and selected "5 weeks before" and "all" after which I thought should get entries from the last 5 weeks, plus all future entries. Didn't work. In fact, one appointment for July 17, certainly within my time period, got moved from the Palm to E'rage and then eliminated on the Palm. To test things out, I changed the setting back to all dates, and the appointment was returned to the Palm. Then I tried 5 weeks before and 8 weeks after, just to see what would happen. That worked correctly - the Palm now has appointments for that 13 week time period (plus one recurring monthly appointment that it included both earlier and later). So apparently the "all" setting doesn't work to let you go forever into the future. Probably not a serious problem, but it would be nice to have that flexibility.
