I'm reading the Palm Sync threads here carefully for several days before
taking the plunge. One thing I've noticed in Palm Desktop 4.0 running under
OS X (compared with Palm Desktop 2.6.3 under OS 9) is that when I "merge" my
Palm Desktop datafile between two Macs, "banner" events created one one
computer often (but not always) show up on the other computer as a series of
individual untimed events. I've found this to be a nuisance. I haven't
checked to see whether syncing to the Palm before merging desktop files
affects this.

One reason I'm a bit reluctant to give up on Palm Desktop is the file merge
routine, which (except for the above glitch that seems to be new with the OS
X version) works remarkably well, thanks to the efforts of the Claris
programmers who created it.

Just so I understand the issue you're discussing (I came in late on this
thread, once the title changed), is there some problem when banner events
created on the Mac in EforX are synced to a Palm handheld?
