Sorryv to hear this - sending an e-mail, with a serious tone, of complaining
about the obvious misinformation being propagated by IT services, and how,
knowing how wrong the IT kid was about this ifnormation, how is a user
supposed to trust them about 'real' serious issues?

Place a dollar amount on their mistakes, and figure out how much it costs
your organization to have people in charge that are frequently wrong.

This works - it allowed us repeatedly to clear out dead-wood in other
operations.
