Title: Re: Another bug in Palm Synch
I’ve set the sync to exclude one category, but none of my calendar events are in that category. I am beginning to suspect that problem is related to the range of date features in the calendar portion of the conduit. Its almost as if the calendar conduit is not picking up the current date, but is still handling “today” as the first time I did the sync. I’ve notice that the Entourage Conduit Settings file has not changed since the conduits were installed, even though I’ve changed the conduit settings a number of times (the Conduit Data and Entourage Storage files have changed, and since the settings do seem to be remembered these files may actually store the settings).

I’ve encountered what appears to be another problem in synchronizing with the Palm. With both IR and cradle based synchronization, most Calendar entries made in Entourage are not placed into the Palm calendar. There is no warning or other indication of a problem, the entries simple do not appear. This occurs when the calendar conduit is set to synchronize and when it is set to Entourage overwrites handheld. The only events that appear to correctly synchronize are repeated events, all one time only events do not appear.

Have you set the conduit to sync only (or exclude) a particular category? Newly created items will have to have that category set if they are to be copied over.
