Greetings, I've recently re-subscribed to this list, so if this has been answered please just point me to the answer.
I'm trying to find some email messages I know I have in my database, but the searching function really doesn't seem to work. The email is from (let's say) Joe Smith. I have a message from Joe, and the "From" field shows up like this: From: Joe Smith <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I hit Cmd-F to bring up the Find feature, select to search in Messages (un-checked the "search in 'Inbox' only" box), and left checked the "Search subjects, titles and names only" box. I searched for "Joe Smith". After a few seconds, the search finished, with no results. Even though I'm looking right *at* a message from Joe. So, I tried searching on "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". Same result. I un-checked the "Search subjects, titles and names only" checkbox, and this does indeed, very slowly, find some results. However, I know for a fact that I have 14 messages in one folder from "Joe", and yet it only finds FOUR! What the heck? What am I doing wrong? I did a "normal" rebuild of the database, and that didn't help anything.
