Title: My apologies
I am sending this apology to all of you on the Entourage Mac list for a rash of auto reply messages sent to each of you, originating from my account, last month. I was leaving on a series of trips and wrote the out-of-office rule incorrectly such that the out-of-office messages were sent to you repeatedly. To be certain of ending this issue, I have been unsubscribed from the list for the past month.
I want to assure you that I take the membership in this group seriously and it was never my intent to clog up your emails with even a single message. Like many of you I prize my privacy and my right to participate in the internet without undue interference, so I do understand that the problem I caused was irritating, to some even offensive. I have learned a good deal from this list’s correspondence and value it; clearly I still have more to learn.
Again, my apologies for causing you trouble. I also want to thank Beth Rosengard for her kindness and patience in helping me to deal with this problem when it occurred. The cause was mine alone; the solution came with her help.
