I sent Robert a holiday file for Thai holidays directly (the list bounces attachments), and he confirmed that it seemed to work for him.

It is provided without guarantees, etc. If anyone else wants to create a holidays file for some other country/region/religion that isn't included in Entourage, you can create your own file. Use the holidays file in the office folder as your guide. For the curious and those with too much time on their hands, here are the steps I took to get these holidays from Outlook into a holidays file Entourage will recognize (I used Outlook on a PC, but it might also work with Mac Outlook): 1. In a clean outlook profile, import the holidays you want from Tools/Option/Calendar Options/Add holidays 2. Export the outlook calendar folder as a comma separated values file 3. Open a copy (only edit the original if you never ever make mistakes) of the office/holidays file in a text editor (I used BBEdit) and take a look at the format of the entries 4. In Excel open the exported file and get rid of the columns you don't need (everything except name and date) 5. In Excel, change the format of the date cells to match the holidays file (set up a custom format of: yyyy/m/d) 6. In Excel, count the number of holiday you will add 7. In the Holidays file, erase all but the first line 8. Edit the first line so that it shows the name of group of holidays you are adding, and their count. For instance "[The Wholly Holey Holy Holidays of Gil] 600" 9. Copy everything from Excel into the holidays file, save and close 10. In a resource editor, make sure that your new holidays file has same type and creator as the old one 11. In Entourage, choose file/Import and select holidays 12. the first time the country list is displayed, close the window 13. Repeat step 11, this time you should get a file chooser window 14. Select your new holidays file 15. Entourage should import your new holidays Simple, right?
