Thanks for pointing me to this great resource. I changed the settings as you can see below. Actually I now remember that I consciously deselected this option because I don't like these bulky headers, since you get this information in the header if you want it. Is there any other way other then using scripts?
BTW: Diane might considder to change advice #8 an replace "Use short header-style attribution lines" with "Prefix my replies with short header-style attribution lines" at least that is what it says on my preference panel. :-) FWIW: The panel is misleading in giving the user the impression he can choose the insertion point (including the signature: Why should the signature be separate from my reply?) and the header style separately. With my current understanding I would label this a bug and not a feature, but hey I am not an expert. /h > From: Allen Watson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Reply-To: "Entourage:mac Talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Thu, 26 Sep 2002 17:25:56 -0700 > To: Entourage mac Talk <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: Insertion point for Signature > > I >> want my signature to always be inserted below my reply but above the quoted >> message I am replying to.
