I just noticed another clue. We have a second Mac, also running Office X, with SR 1. That one is still using Mac OS X 10.1.5. If I open the Entourage "Create Contact" window, the window is drawn correctly, with the "More" button fully visible at the bottom of the window. There is also a toolbar at the top of the window, with mini-icons for "Save & Close", "Save & New", etc.
