I'm not sure what the problem is, but here is something to check: I don't know how this happened, but one time my Palm folder moved from User/yourusername/Documents/Palm to Users/yourusername/Library/Documents/Palm which ended up messing up my syncs (plus somehow all my Entourage folders were moved into the Library/Documents folder also). Once I moved everything back into the ~/Documents/Palm folder everything synced up OK. I think this happened after I did an upgrade but I was too tired and rushed to recall; but at least check for this possibility.
