Any thoughts on optimizing the performance of Entourage for IMAP (using an EIMS server)?
A particular bug-a-boo for me is message that are supposed to download completely, but I only get the header. OF course if you stick on the message to long it starts to download, and then even though you've deleted it and see it disappear it comes back into your mailbox as a complete message. It also seems like when I move a message to another folder that the message has to be uploaded tot he server and then re-downloaded in the new folder - this seems very inefficient as the message already exists both on the server and in Entourage. I use the following advanced config: - send simultaneous - download complete message - Live Synch - Only In Box (not sure if this is wise) - Connect immediately - Check other folders. My IMAP account is part of my scheduled check every 10 minutes or so.
