I narrowed down the cause for the incorrectly drawn Create Contact window (in Entourage X) and Add Contact window (in Word X). I have been running Entourage with this preference option disabled:
General Preferences > General > Show Toolbars If I turn it on, the windows draw correctly. When the Show Toolbar option is disabled, Entourage removes the toolbar in the Create Contact window, but miscalculates vertical dimensions for certain other elements in that window. If the Show Toolbar option is off, the Add Contact window (in Word X) is drawn incorrectly, even though there is no toolbar in that window. I also noticed a small cosmetic difference in the Accounts window (in Entourage) when the option is on or off. Other windows may be affected, too. I did not check them all. Looks like a bug to me. This was observed on two "Quicksilver" G4 Power Macs, one of which had a fresh install of Office X, updated with SR 1, running in Mac OS X 10.2.1, and accessed from a freshly created user account. The other Mac is running OS X 10.1.5. So (as also reported by Al Byrne) the bug is not related to Jaguar. BTW, the Show Toolbar option does not seem to be consistent in its effect - when disabled, a toolbar remains visible in some windows. But that might be an intentional design choice. -- Julian Vrieslander <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
