I've seen lots of complaints lately about problems with Office and 10.2. Try
these steps to identify the cause of the problem:

1. Eliminate conflict or corruption with the OS. Use your old identity for
this test.

Mac OS X: Create a new user. Open Entourage using old identity.

Mac OS 9: First be sure you have room on your hard drive and that it is not
fragmented, then do a clean install of the OS. This will rename your old
system folder as Previous System Folder. Install Office on this new system
folder. Test to see if problems go away.

If problems disappear then you know it's a conflict or corruption in old
system folder. If you find it's corruption, I suggest you do not merge but
install everything new.

If problem stays the same, then you can delete the new system folder and
remove "Previous" from old and you are back were you started.

2. Eliminate corruption in your identity.

Now that you have eliminated problems with the OS, eliminate corruption in
your identity.

Create a new identity and see if problems continue. If the problems go away,
try a rebuild on your old identity.
