Are these Mac's both firewire capable?

If so, why not use this nifty utility:
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/system_disk_utilities/carboncopycloner
.html

This is a hard disk cloner - and it really works! (I used it last week to
port my drive image from a old TiBook to my new TiBook.

Here is how you do it:

Download the program to your OLD mac
Start up your NEW Mac in Firewire mode (hold down the "T" key when you power
on
Start up your OLD Mac normally
Connect a firewire cable
Run CarbonCopy Cloner and follow the prompts.

Depending on drive size, you will have a clone of your old files on your new
Mac un under a hour (60GB PowerBook G4 drive).

I only found one small glitch in this cloning process: FinalCutPro needs to
be COMPLETELY removed and re-installed.

(yes, even the LIBS and Prefs - do a "Find" on "Final Cut Pro" and trash
everything related to the software except project files )

Hope this helps!
