than it's meant to be in? You won't even tell us which version of Entourage
you're using, so you make it hard to help you.
I am running OS 10.2.2 on a Beige G3, 300 MHz, Microsoft Office X, Verson 10.0.0 of Entourage.
Since you wrote your messageAfter reinstalling Entourage, I found the Entourage Temp Folder in the Documents folder of my OSX user. However, even with the presence of the Temp Folder, while launching I receive the message "The Entourage Temp folder could not be found. It is likely that you have a file with the same name or an alias that does not point to the folder."
from Apple Mail, you must be in OS X. But do you have Entourage X? If you
are using Entourage 2001 in Classic, are you aware that the location for the
MUD folder changed in Jaguar? It now has to be in the Documents folder of
your OS X user, not the root (OS 9) Documents folder. Or can put an alias to
it there, which works fine, particularly if you ever still boot into S 9 and
use Entourage there as well.
Doing a Find, and I could not find another file names Entourage Temp Folder.
I tried that, and I still get the message that the Temp Folder can not be found.
In any other circumstance (e.g. using Entourage X), it's OK to keep your MUD
folder elsewhere as long as you put an alias in the correct location (OS X
user Documents folder). If it's already in the correct place, you probably
need to fix your Sisk Permissions. If you have OS 10.2.x, go to
Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility. First Aid tab, and click Repair Disk
Permissions. If you have OS 10.1.x, get the Repair Utility from the the
Apple Software webpage and use it. (You have to update to 10.1.5 first, if
you haven't yet.)
