I'm seeing the same thing, Gary. I can see why in some circumstances you
might want an incoming message to trigger a script and then be deleted, its
reason for existence being solely to trigger that script. This is probably
another instance of the programmers trying to protect us from our own
stupidity, though; the assumption is probably that your script is going to
operate on the message, and if the delete option were available, Entourage
would delete it before the script finished running, resulting in
unpredictable behavior.

If you are like me, you'd prefer to be allowed to paint yourself into a
corner and learn by the mistake. Perhaps, in a future update, Entourage will
let us do that. Meanwhile, may I suggest simply adding the delete operation
into the script that gets triggered? (That's the solution for all such
actions that get prohibited by running a script.)
