Go to Apple -> Control Panels -> Remote Access. Click the Options button, then the "Protocol" tab. Check the option to "Connect automatically when opening TCP/IP applications". Close the control panel and choose to save changes. Also, in Entourage, go to Tools -> Schedules. Open your "Send and Receive All" schedule. Under when, make sure "Only if connected" is unchecked. Click OK to save changes.
