They have been given the icon of Apple's Mail app, which is the default app
for .mbox files . You can do one of two things:

1) if you're not going to be using Mail, control-click on one of the .mbox
files and select Get Info (or just press command-I when it's selected),
open the triangle for "Open With", change the popup from Mail to Microsoft
Entourage (10.x) [browse to it if necessary, but it's probably offered
there], then click the Change All button. Now all your .mbox files will have
Entourage icons and will open in Entourage when double-clicked.

2) Even without this, you _ought_ to be able to drag the .mbox files onto
"On My Computer" and they should get imported as folders there, I think. No?

PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - 2001 or X.
It's often impossible to answer your questions otherwise.
